Delete Your Trasio Account and Data
This page explains how to request deletion of your Trasio user account and associated personal information, and why certain customer-controlled workforce or business records may need to be retained.
Last updated: August 30, 2026
This page applies to Trasio’s mobile applications, web applications, customer portals, and related services.
How to request deletion
Email support@trasio.app with the subject “Data deletion request.” Include the name associated with your account and the store or organization you work with so we can locate the correct record.
You do not need the app installed and you do not need to sign in to make a request. We may ask for additional information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorized deletion.
We will acknowledge your request, explain what information will be deleted and what information may need to be retained, and confirm when the request has been completed. Verified requests are processed within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by applicable law.
If you only want to stop notifications
You do not need to delete your account to stop Trasio notifications. You can turn off notifications for Trasio in your phone’s settings or sign out of the app.
What we delete
When we approve a verified account-deletion request, we remove from active Trasio systems personal information associated with the user account that is not required to be retained as customer-controlled business or workforce data.
- Profile and contact information associated with the user account.
- Sign-in credentials, active sessions, and device notification identifiers associated with the account.
- Profile or reference photographs associated with the account, where enabled.
- Punch photographs associated with the user, subject to the retention practices described below.
- Other account-specific personal information that is no longer needed to provide the Services or satisfy a legitimate retention requirement.
Records that may need to be retained
Some information in Trasio is maintained on behalf of your employer or another Trasio customer as part of that customer’s workforce, operational, security, or business records. Deleting your Trasio login does not necessarily require deletion of those underlying customer records.
Examples may include:
- Time punches, worked hours, timesheets, attendance records, and break records.
- Historical schedules and related workforce records.
- Corrections, approvals, and audit records associated with customer activity.
- Transaction, operational, or other business records that contain or reference an individual.
These records may need to be retained for employment, payroll, security, legal, contractual, recordkeeping, or dispute-resolution purposes. For example, California generally requires employers to retain certain payroll and time records for at least three years.
Where Trasio processes these records on behalf of a customer, requests to delete the underlying customer records may need to be directed to that customer. Trasio will act on the customer’s instructions where appropriate and permitted by law.
How long deletion can take across systems
Information removed from the active Trasio system may not disappear from every system immediately.
- Residual copies may temporarily remain in infrastructure snapshots, recovery copies, or similar systems where applicable, until those copies expire or are replaced through normal system operations.
- Content processed by a third-party document-processing or artificial-intelligence service provider may remain for up to 30 days under that provider’s standard API retention period.
- Punch photographs are generally removed from active Trasio systems within 90 days, or sooner where the customer has configured a shorter retention period.
If you are a store owner or customer administrator
Deleting an individual owner, manager, or administrator login removes or deactivates that user’s personal access. It does not automatically delete the organization’s store, workforce, fuel, transaction, or other customer data.
To request closure of a Trasio customer account and deletion of the organization’s Customer Data, email support@trasio.app and state that you are requesting customer-account closure and data deletion. We will confirm the scope of the request before processing it. Customers remain responsible for identifying and retaining records they are legally or contractually required to keep.
